TLDR

This month makes DualEntry more fluent across currencies and regions. Set a list price per currency, use the exchange rate your bank actually used, and connect to Canadian banks. Data Analytics and automatic payment reminders lead a month that also adds VAT and GST import, a US Sales Tax Detail report, an EBITDA income statement, ADP Workforce Now, and a larger public API.

This month was about making DualEntry work the way an international finance team does. You can now set a list price for each currency, use the exchange rate your bank actually used, and connect to banks in Canada. Data Analytics and automatic payment reminders also arrived, along with a round of tax, reporting, and integration upgrades. Everything is below, with links to the docs.

Data Analytics

Build reports on live ledger data and schedule them to land in any inbox. Read the docs

Multi-currency and banking

  • Multiple price lists: Set a list price per currency on any item, and invoices and sales orders pick the matching price automatically.
  • Use the rate your bank actually used: Enter the rate your bank applied on each side of a transfer, and the journal entry matches the bank statement to the cent.
  • Canadian bank connections: Bring your Canadian accounts into the same bank feeds as your US ones, through Plaid.

Tax and VAT

  • VAT & GST: Import bills and invoices with a rate on each line, sync rates to Ramp, and get file-ready GST/HST returns.
  • US Sales Tax Detail: Every sales line by state and nexus, including zero-tax and exempt sales.

Receivables and payments

Reporting

  • EBITDA Income Statement: Tag interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization accounts, and get EBITDA out of the box.

Integrations and API

  • ADP Workforce Now: Each payroll run posts as a consolidated journal entry for each company.
  • Public API expansion: Create bank transfers, cash sales, direct expenses, intercompany entries, and vendor prepayments.

Close and automation

  • Accrual templates: Generate, post, and reverse accrual journal entries automatically, under Transactions.
  • Scheduled agent history and run status: Every scheduled agent run keeps its own history, and each agent shows whether it is running, ready to view, waiting on you, or failed.
  • Image attachments: Attach PNG and JPG files to journal entries, intercompany entries, allocation journals, and revenue recognition contracts.
